AAAA Records in Shared Website Hosting
In order to use a domain address or a subdomain that you have within a shared website hosting account on our end for any third-party service and you have to create an AAAA record for that, it will not take you more than only a few clicks to do that using our powerful, though easy-to-use Hepsia Control Panel. Once you visit the DNS Records section and click the Create a New Record button, a little pop-up will show up. This is the place where you could set up any DNS record, so you simply have to choose the needed domain address or subdomain and the type of record through drop-down navigation and input the IPv6 address, that’s the actual record. Even if you have no experience with such matters, you'll not have any issues as Hepsia is quite intuitive and your new AAAA record will propagate within the hour, so that you can start using your domain/subdomain with the other company. Provided they demand it, you are also going to be able to change the Time To Live (TTL) value for the record, defining how long it will stay active in the global DNS system after you edit it or remove it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you've got a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to set up an AAAA record for a domain address you have hosted in it or a subdomain you have created, it is going to take you only a few clicks within the Hepsia CP to achieve that. Even though you may have never had a hosting account before, you won't face any problems as you will use a very simple and intuitive interface. All of the DNS records for your domain names will be listed in a section of the Control Panel with the same name, so when you go there, you will see all records which have been set up automatically or manually and you will be able to create a new one by clicking on the corresponding button. A little pop-up will appear, so with only a couple of mouse clicks you can select the type of record you need and for which domain or subdomain it's going to be created. Next, just paste the IPv6 address within a text box, save the modification and one hour later the new AAAA record will be fully live. As an optional setting, you can pick the time this record is going to be functioning after you change it or erase it in the future. This is the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can change from the default 3600 seconds in case the other service provider requires it.
